Bambo Nature disposable nappies use a high percentage of wheat starch in the absorbent core. Wheat starch is a 100 % biodegradable natural absorbent. As the technology for this is not yet
advanced enough so that wheat starch can be used for the whole of the superabsorber, so they
also contain some sodium polyacrylate. However, Bambo Nature nappies contain much less of this than a standard disposable nappy, and babies will not end up with gel all over their bottoms if they wear Bambo Nature.
